Stanley Partnership Architects based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire are proud to announce the planning permission obtained today for a new Client to extend an existing residential home in Cheltenham, with a new modern Garden room for the resident to socialise and enjoy their meals. The building has been designed to create an inspirational space that feels open and light for the occupants rather than the often oppressive space found in some nursing homes. The main room is accessed from two existing communal rooms via glazed links that sit either side of a sheltered courtyard garden with water feature, so far the feedback from both the residents and their visiting families and staff have been extremely positive. The external finish is standing seam zinc on a timber and steel structure.
